Gratitude is powerful

Find something to thank your Mom for.  Find something to thank someone for.  No man is an island, we have an impact on --  and are impacted by others profoundly.  Whether it's something BIG, something little.  Life is so short and goes by so fast -- especially once you hit 40. (I hit 40-several years ago-- and it smacked me back pretty hard!)  Anyway, that little word "thanks" is powerful.  The whole world opens up when you focus beyond yourself--it is amazing. 

It's more than a random act of kindness--it's a lovefest of good feelings, goosebumps and making the world a better place.   The big "G" is for Gratitude. 

The big "A" is for "Appreciation."  Think about it, when something "appreciates" it means it becomes more valuable.  Hmmmmm...food for thought...eh?

It is Spring in the midst of the cold winter (or as cold as it gets in TX) My lovely Amaryllis has bloomed. It was a Christmas gift from my Mother-in-Law.

She knows how much I LOVE this color (see pic below)

Anyway, whenever I look at this flower, I hear a lovely Italian song play in my mind. (Yes, you could say I hear voices in my head). Anyway, I thought you would enjoy the translation as well as a lovely redition by the always divine Cecilia Bartoli: Enjoy!

Do NOT be there when potential buyers are looking at your house. You are a distraction. There is a 100% chance they will NOT see your house. It is a waste of time--don't even bother allowing them to come.

Getting the House Ready to Sell: Hardest part: take the emotion out. Buying real estate is often an emotional decision, but when selling real estate you need to remove emotion from the job at hand--selling. Your house needs to become a marketable commodity. Property--Real estate.

Your goal is to get others to visualize themselves in the space--make it their potential home, not yours. If you do not work to make this decision, there is a probability you will create a situation where it takes longer to sell your house.  As hard as it is, the first step in getting your home ready to sell is to "de-personalize" it.

Baskets! Clear clutter off of kitchen and bathroom counters and work areas by putting items you use in small baskets and storing them in cabinets or display neatly as shown. In the Kitchen--Choose 2 items to leave out on Kitchen counters, the rest--store out of sight, so that potential buyers see your house and not your stuff.
