My husband and I were having lunch over the weekend and overheard a great conversation at the table next to us. They were talking about how much they loved their "teaser." "Mal-Teasers" of course. Hey wait a minute, I thought we were the only ones who knew the secret language of the white dog fan club.
A Maltese is the most elegant of all dogs. They are brilliant, beautiful, loyal and oh...so lovable. My little baby Carmen is my only child and oh, so spoiled. I tell my husband it's all his fault, but I know the truth--it's both of us. When we got our baby girl, she was the size of a hamster--probably way to small to leave her mommy. I think we got really lucky. We just fell in love. This is the baby that when I held her in my hand the first time, took her tiny litttle paws and squeezed my finger. That was it. I was a goner.
She is 8 now and still so playful. Habits and routines, she is the queen of habits and routines. I would go on, but you know those obnoxious parents that go on and on about their kids ( see not ALL of them have their own talk shows).
If you want to fall in love--meet a teaser!
(This is when we tried to adopt 2 Papillons--it didn't go well)
