It is Spring in the midst of the cold winter (or as cold as it gets in TX) My lovely Amaryllis has bloomed. It was a Christmas gift from my Mother-in-Law.
She knows how much I LOVE this color (see pic below)
Anyway, whenever I look at this flower, I hear a lovely Italian song play in my mind. (Yes, you could say I hear voices in my head). Anyway, I thought you would enjoy the translation as well as a lovely redition by the always divine Cecilia Bartoli: Enjoy!

Hi Silvia, Thanks for writing. After it bloomed the first time, I just gently pulled off the dead part of the bloom.
